Option A:

$\tfrac{1}{2}$

Option B:

$\tfrac{1}{6}$

Option C:

$\tfrac{1}{4}$

Option D:

$\tfrac{1}{3}$

Jamb Maths Solution:

60 = 30 – x + x + 40 – x

60 = 70 – x

x = 10

$n(P\cap C)=10$

$\text{Prob(}P\cap C)=\frac{10}{60}=\frac{1}{6}$
