A woman buys 270 oranges for N1800.00 and sell at 5 for N40.00. What is her profit?

Jamb Maths Solution: 

Cost price =N1800.00

Selling Price at the rate of N40.00 for 5 oranges will be $\frac{270}{5}\times N40=N2160$

So the selling price of the 270 oranges is N2160

Profit = Selling Price – Cost Price

Profit = N2160 – 1800 =N360
