A solid metal of side 3 cm is placed I a rectangular tank of dimension 3, 4 and 5 cm. What volume of water can the tank hold?

Jamb Maths Solution:
Volume of cube = s3cm3 = 33cm3 =27cm3
Volume of the tank = $lbh=3\times 4\times 5c{{m}^{3}}=60c{{m}^{3}}$
Volume of the water the tank will hold after the solid cube was placed will be (60 – 27)cm3 =33cm3
