$\begin{align} & {{T}_{n}}=a+(n-1)d \\ & {{T}_{4}}=a+3d=13---(i) \\ & {{T}_{10}}=a+9d=31---(ii) \\ & \text{Subtract }(i)\text{ from }(ii) \\ & 6d=18 \\ & d=3 \\ & \text{Substitute }d=3\text{ into }(i) \\ & a+3(3)=13 \\ & a=4 \\ & \text{The 24th term will be} \\ & {{T}_{24}}=a+23d=4+3(23)=73 \\\end{align}$
